Connecting Rod Specification:

 

This connecting rod is designed to be used in all ZXR750 J to M models. It is designed as a direct replacement for the now discontinued Kawasaki ‘race kit’ item (as such must be used with a race kit piston). This connecting rod is suitable for racing applications; it is a modern 'H-section' design which is stronger than race kit rods, whilst being mass neutral.

 

The connecting rod kits are ideal for use with our D73mm bore ZXR race pistons.

 

The connecting rod length is 103.2mm, the little end width is 17mm and takes a D18mm pin within a copper-beryllium bush. The big end is as per Kawasaki 'race kit' rods and designed for nominal bearing shells.

Rod bolts are ARP top spec 'Custom Aged 625 Plus'. These are the highest tensile strength fasteners on offer at 1900MPa. Approx. 2 times stronger than period OEM rod fasteners.

 

This connecting rod is exclusive to Dunbar Race Engineering Ltd.
