Race ZXR750: 'Cranked Lever Arm' spec

An evolution of the 'original spec' (detailed below). It works in exactly the same way with addition of a 'cranked' lever arm which tucks up inside the frame. This allows the cable to sit flat of the top of the gearbox casing, useful if a very deep air box is being used.

The cranked lever arm is longer than the 'original' system giving a lighter clutch pull. It dispenses with the cable stop bracket and uses the rear generator mounting lug. 

Both ZXR options give a progressive clutch feel, the standard setup (DUN7001_01) isn't a heavy clutch, but this one is lighter. It's down to preference. 

 

For race application when the generator is removed. Can be fitted with breather tank kit in place of generator or with a blanking plate.

Race ZXR750: 'Original Spec'

This cable clutch kit has a mounting bracket which picks up on 4 bolt holes on the clutch inner casing. The lever arm assembly attaches to the mounting bracket, which has an extra support for the clutch push rod mounted against the casing.

The lever bracket and arm are machined from billet 2014-T6 high strength aluminium alloy. Comes with cable stop and bolts.

Push rod is silver steel, hardened at one end; kit clutch length 291mm, standard clutch length 289mm - please specify your requirement.  

For race application when the generator is removed. Generator blanking plates also available.

Road / Generator Fitted ZXR750: 

Option A: Fit without removing generator top rear bolt

This setup uses a stainless steel bracket that can be slotted into place when the upper rear generator bolt is slackened. This bolt clashes with the frame with the generator in place. It makes life easier for a fully built up bike. 

Option B: Requires partial removal of the generator

This setup requires the upper rear generator bolt to be removed and a longer one fitted. To achieve this the generator must be partially removed. This can be tricky as care must be taken not to damage the generator o-ring. However, if you're used to fiddly jobs it may not be too taxing. 

Both options are machined from billet 2014-T6 high strength aluminium alloy and comes with cable stops and appropriate bolts where required.

The push rod is silver steel, hardened at one end; kit clutch length 291mm, standard clutch length 289mm - please specify your requirement.
